WE OFFER DINE IN, CARRY OUT & CATERING
Located in Pembroke, Massachusetts, offers a truly unique experience inspired by one of Hungary’s most famous desserts. The bakery’s name comes from the beloved Hungarian pastry, Zserbó—a rich, layered cake made with apricot, walnuts, and a hint of rum, all topped with a smooth chocolate glaze. Invented by renowned confectioner Emil Gerbeaud in 1884, this timeless treat remains a symbol of Hungarian dessert craftsmanship.
Anita Borbely
Owner & Baker
Anita, the Owner/Baker, grew up in Hungary and started baking with her mother at a very young age. She went on to master many traditional family recipes passed down to her, zserbó being one of them.
Living in London, England, for school and work and spending much time in the Caribbean Islands, Anita has introduced several international recipes to her menu.
Zserbó’s freshly made pastries are infused with the delectable flavors of Hungary and the Caribbean.
Anita’s mouthwatering desserts are guaranteed to satisfy her customers’ palates.
"I cannot get over this bakery!
There's something for every palate."
